I’m Tom Mulleder. An experienced home renovation Vancouver contractor and the proud owner of Three Mountains Construction. I’ve been passionate about the home renovation industry for as long as I remember, and nothing brings me more joy than to realize my clients’ most wanted home renovation improvements. I don’t like hidden fees and complicated agreements. My contracts are simple and easy to understand – just how I like it. Occasionally, there can be unforeseen surprises during the construction process (such as hidden damage) that need to be addressed before we proceed. In those rare situations, I explore possible solutions and discuss options and costs with my clients before the work proceeds.

I am liability insured and provide a hassle-free home renovation experience from beginning to end. Before I prepare a quote, I offer a no-obligation on-site meeting to gain an in-depth understanding of the challenges, as well as the needs and wishes of my clients. Tom and his team were nothing short of amazing. Living through the renovation and being exposed to most of his team throughout the renovation was an absolute pleasure and the quality is top notch. We bought our home this year knowing that it would need a good amount of work to be done. The home had not had any updates since it was constructed in 2007 and had "lived a hard life". We knew that to convert it to our dream home, it would need a full overhaul which would involve many different trades that I would have great difficulty in trying to coordinate on my own. When I called Tom, we discussed ideas that included reflooring two levels, including stairs; replacing the entire kitchen cabinetry, island and backsplash; replacing all window coverings; updating the washrooms; and repainting all walls and ceilings. As the project continued, we had other ideas and add-ons including replacing all railings; every light fixture and add new pot lights; solarium tiling and all outlets and switches. Tom worked diligently with his team of professional tradespeople and did an amazing job. He had many good ideas and suggestions that enhanced our plans and in many cases saved us money. The quality and care that Tom demonstrated and was carried on by every member of his team was beyond what I would have ever expected. Most importantly, Tom's level, frequency and detail of communication kept us updated and there were never any surprises, even if some plans changed. Even with the changes and additions, the work was completed on time and within our budget. We can't thank Tom and his team enough for the work and care that they did to transform our house into our dream home that we will live in for years to come. We have a lovely yard that backs into the greenbelt. However, with no area to set up an outdoor seating area, we never felt inspired to spend time in our yard. Last year, my husband and I met with Tom to talk to him about our vision and he was happy to present with us a couple of designs to make the most of our space. From start to finish, the renovation took less than a week and I was really impressed with the demeanour and work ethic of the team as they completed the work under truly awful weather conditions. They were punctual, built the deck on time and on budget, and left our yard spotless at the end of each day. Most importantly, their workmanship was top quality. I cannot recommend them enough and will make sure to use them again in our next home renovation project.
